Authorises of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kaduna command on Friday confirmed 3 persons death in an autocrash along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
Kabir Nadabo, the FRSC sector commander, told NAN that the bodies have been moved to St. Gerrard’s Hospital.
He added that the three persons who survived were immediately conveyed to AP Smart Hospital, Kakuri.
“The road traffic crash occurred near Olam farm on Kaduna-Abuja highway about 3pm, when a Toyota Hiace marked GTG 96YA carrying 11 persons collided with a Golf Salon marked RBC 369XE with five passengers,” he said.
“As we enter the ember season fully, motorists are reminded on the need to adhere to basic safety ethics while travelling.”
He urged drivers to always maintain the requisite speed limits.
“FRSC is committed to ensuring the roads are safe for all users,” he added.
“Corps extends its sincere gratitude to the Kaduna state government for the continuous support in FRSC activities.”
