Analyst View
With less than 8 weeks to the end of 2024, some Nigerians are concerned if President Tinubu can maintain the January to December budget calendar instituted by his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari, working closely with Senator Ahmed Lawan-led National Assembly adjusted the hitherto disordered budget calendar. The then administration made concerted effort to normalise the calendar to January – December.
Mr. Abraham Subang, a public affairs analysts is of the view that even if the budget were to be submitted, the National Assembly will not do proper job if the are to meet up with the January to December budget cycle.
