The Kullen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has urged herders to stop destroying farmers’ crops.

KACRAN’s National President, Khalil Moh’d Bello, issued this statement to promote peaceful coexistence between farmers and pastoralists in Nigeria.

He emphasized that mutual respect and understanding are crucial for fostering a harmonious environment for both agricultural communities and herders.

Bello called on all pastoralists to conduct their activities peacefully and avoid actions that could escalate conflicts with farmers.

He urged the herders to recognize the importance of agriculture for national food security and respect farmers’ hard work.

The KACRAN President also appealed to pastoralists to be law-abiding citizens to maintain order and security in local communities.

Bello commended Yobe State’s government for holding strategic security meetings with pastoralists to promote peaceful coexistence and cooperation.

He further called on herders to support and cooperate with government authorities and security operatives in ensuring national peace.

“Together, we can create a safer environment for everyone,” Bello concluded, stressing the need for unity and understanding.
