The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) began computer-based tests for recruitment into various positions on Saturday.

NNPCL made the announcement through its official Facebook account, informing the public of the recruitment exercise’s commencement.

According to the statement, 45,689 applicants are vying for the available vacancies in the state-owned oil company.

The corporation emphasized that only the most qualified candidates would be selected for employment following the completion of the test.

“As the Computer-Based Aptitude Test for NNPC Ltd.’s recruitment begins, 45,689 applicants are competing in an inclusive recruitment process,” it stated.

NNPCL’s Group CEO, Mele Kyari, visited one of the centres and pledged a smooth and transparent process throughout.

Kyari reassured applicants that only the best-qualified candidates would be chosen for employment within the organization.

“As an equal opportunity employer, NNPC Ltd. has ensured that applicants with disabilities can take the test without hindrance,” he added.

In July 2024, the NNPCL spokesman announced the launch of a new recruitment drive to fill various positions.
