Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, expressed confidence that the 2025 budget, presented by President Bola Tinubu, will set Nigeria on a path of progress and restoration.
In an interview with members of the National Assembly New Media Forum, Ukodhiko shared his optimism, emphasizing that the true impact of the budget would only be clear after a thorough analysis by the National Assembly.
“The budget, as presented by President Tinubu, holds significant promise,” Ukodhiko said. “While it’s too early to fully assess the details, we trust that it will drive the positive changes needed for our people.” He further acknowledged the ongoing economic hardships faced by Nigerians but remained hopeful about the country’s future.
Ukodhiko highlighted the necessity of strong leadership in these challenging times, stressing that President Tinubu’s tough decisions are crucial for the nation’s survival. “We need a determined and focused leader to guide us through these difficulties. If such decisions are not made, the country may face further decline,” he explained.
Although the budget has caused some public concern, Ukodhiko believes it is a step in the right direction. “The President’s commitment to restoring Nigeria is clear. I believe this budget will be a catalyst for recovery,” he said.
The lawmaker concluded by urging Nigerians to remain hopeful and patient, trusting that the budget will bring long-term benefits.
