In an interview with the National Assembly New Media Forum, Kure discussed President Bola Tinubu’s proposed 2025 budget, totaling 47.96 trillion Naira. He commended Niger State Governor Umar Bago for taking bold steps, allowing residents to feel safer. “We are almost free from any kind of attack,” Kure stated, reflecting the progress in his area.
On economic growth, Kure shared his expectations for a broad-based improvement, particularly in the country’s GDP. He noted the country’s progress from 32 billion dollars to 42 billion dollars in GDP and expressed hope for surpassing 50 billion dollars by next year. “I’m impressed with what the government has done,” Kure added, emphasizing the optimism surrounding the 2025 budget and its potential for economic growth.
